It is not an XL, by alot of inches….. I tried to return (only this item of 3; all of which fell short). I sent two messages asking to get a 3X (their largest size) to see if it would work over the XL that should have been to large. Do not buy the jeans (or 2+ sizes up).

9/14 update. I emailed the company to try and do a return and bumped it. I have heard nothing. Going to donate the pants and write this company off.
