The Story Behind This Print

From Dust to Bloom

Sagebrush Sunset

Between 1862 and 1934, an estimated 400,000 women filed land claims in their own names across the American West. Their diaries describe the overwhelming emotion of a first sunset on claimed land — the moment when golden light made the harsh landscape look like home. Our print captures that exact hour through layered horizon bands, sagebrush silhouettes, and twilight colors on light chambray denim.

"Wear the hour when fear became home — wide land, golden light, and the decision to stay."

Wore them to a barn dance and got three compliments before the first song ended. The denim is sturdy but soft, and the sunset print doesn’t fade in the sun.

Obsessed

Wore them on a date at a ranch-style BBQ—felt relaxed but put-together. The print feels Western but not costume-y, and the denim softened after one wash.

Wore these to a small-town rodeo in Texas—paired with a white tank and turquoise pendant. The colors pop without being loud, and the cutoff length is just right.

Perfect for brunch in Austin—lightweight denim, fun print, and they held up through coffee spills and sidewalk strolling.

Yes! So flattering on my 28 waist—just wish they’d come in a 30 with same rise. Still wore them to a festival and felt great all day.

These shorts made my trip to Colorado feel complete—hiking trails by day, town square by evening. Size 26 fits true, and the frayed hems look intentional, not messy.

Great fit for my 32 waist (ordered size 32), though they run *slightly* roomy in the hips—I’ll just roll the waistband. Still love the rustic sagebrush pattern.

Got so many compliments at the outdoor concert last weekend. The rust and dusty teal in the print look even better in person, and they’re way more comfortable than my old cutoffs.

These shorts are adorable—the sage and rust print is so warm and summery. Wish the front pockets were just a little deeper for my phone.

So cute with my cowboy boots at the Nashville honky-tonk.
