The Story Behind This Print
From Dust to Bloom
Lone Star Crossing
The Lone Star is one of the most intricate quilt patterns in American folk art — hundreds of diamond pieces radiating from a single center. Across Texas and the Southwest, women stitched Lone Stars as markers of arrival: a sign that the journey was over and home had been found. Our print reimagines this tradition as scattered stars over a night trail — guiding stars, a lone rider, distant mountains, and desert cactus on deep indigo denim.
"One star, stitched from a hundred pieces. Wear the point on the horizon that told her she had arrived."
